Volume 3 - Chapter 2: The Prez Came

The usual lunch break. The usual class 1-9 classroom.

Kyouya was sitting across from Yokomizo and eating his lunch like always.

"Oy, you first year brats! Hand over our Kyoro now, and I'll spare your life and dignity!"

A familiar voice was coming from the entrance. Kyouya's body tensed up in surprise.

It was the Prez. She stood with her arms crossed and her upper body bent backwards, with the demeanor of an emperor.

Kyouya was already used to seeing such a thing in the clubroom, but here, it was obvious how much shorter she was than his female classmates.

"Whoa, you're so cute!"

The girls quickly formed a crowd.

"Whoa whoa whoa, that's dangerous, don't crowd around her!"

Kyouya stood up in a hurry and put himself between the Prez and the crowd.

"Who's Kyoro-kun, anyway?"

"I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Kyouya-kun."

Never-minding the 20 centimeter height difference, it seemed as if the Prez were still looking down on the crowd from below.

"Bye, Kyoro-kun."

The girls finally left, waving their hands and flashing teasing smiles. Kyouya turned to the Prez with a horrified expression.

"Great, now it's going to spread everywhere. Why did you even give me a nickname?"

"Do you not like 'Kyoro' as a nickname?"

"Hmm? Well, I guess I'm ok with it."

"Then it's fine, right?"

"Is it really...?"

The Prez was as commanding and selfish as usual. She acted the same way no matter where she was.

"By the way, why are you here?"

"I'm pretty sure I'd leave at around 6."

The president replied with a satisfied smile, as if she had won something. Kyouya, on the other hand, felt as if he had been seen through, like he had lost.

"Well thanks, but you didn't have to come all the way here."

"What, I'm not allowed to come here?"

"No, I meant you could just text me."

"Who's going to type all that on that tiny keypad!?"

"Of course."

Kyouya muttered in response to the Prez, who had raised her arms in anger.

"What's going on, Shinomiya-kun? Is she your little sister?"

This time, it was a guy who approached them.

"She might feel like one sometimes, but she's not my little sister. This is our GJ-Bu's club president: she's a second year."

"Who the heck is this? Kyoro, is this your friend? He's pretty handsome."

"He might be handsome, but I don't think he's noticed it himself."

"Whoa, seriously? I'm handsome? Hey, Mina, did you hear that! They said I'm handsome!"

Shinjou's girlfriend smiled gently in reply from the corner of the room. Their relationship was common knowledge in the class, and with the both of them being childhood friends and the most attractive people in the class, they were called the "godlike couple".

"Hahaha, but I have a girlfriend, so you better not fall in love with me."

"What an easygoing guy. I wish our club had someone like you."

"Doesn't our club have a "no boys allowed" policy?"

"But man, I heard you were short, but you really are super tiny..."

Shinjou muttered as he began patting the Prez's head. Kyouya shuddered at the sight.

Putting your hands on the Prez's head was an absolute taboo. And on top of that, calling her "tiny" was adding insult to injury.

The Prez bit Shinjou on the hand. It was an unavoidable outcome, having committed 2 taboos.

"Whoa! Owww!! Owww!! Let go!! Let me go!! Hey!!!"

Kyouya grabbed the Prez's legs and tried to help pry her off. Even while pulling on both legs, he couldn't separate the two.

"What is this dangerous animal!?"

Shinjou hid behind Kyouya while rubbing the teeth marks on his hand. He looked towards the Prez with fearful eyes while the Prez only snorted in response.

Kyouya had finally gotten the Prez's reputation going in the positive direction by talking her up, but thanks to the Prez herself coming to visit, there's going to be a lot more bad rumors about her spreading around the class.
